Raz B is a former member of the singing group B2K, who is now accusing his manager/cousin Chris Stokes and Marques Houston of Immature/IMX of sexual abuse. Raz B was all over the place in this interview, and none of his answers were straightforward. I just want to say hello to all of my readers/followers. Kandi Burress of RHOA Ex-Fiance Killed in Atlanta

My condolences go out to Kandi Burress and the family of her ex-fiance Ashley "AJ" Jewell. AJ was murdered last night at a popular strip club by the name of Body Tap in Atlanta, Ga. Kandi was 1/4 of the platinum selling Xscape and a current cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

According to WSBTV: "Atlanta police told Channel 2 Action News that Jewell received a severe head injury during a fight at The Body Tap Club in the 1200 block of Marietta Boulevard in Atlanta. " "It appears he was involved in an altercation in the parking lot and he received a severe blow to the head," said Atlanta Police Lt. Keith Meadows. Meadows said Jewell was taken to Piedmont Hospital where he later died."

Since the report this morning an arrest has been made. "Police said Fredrick Richardson is charged with voluntary manslaughter and currently being held at Grady Detention due to his injuries. Authorities said Richardson will be transported to the Fulton County Jail once he is cleared by medical personnel."

Kandi has commented via her Twitter page about the untimely situation: "I could never in a million years imagine this happening. Please pray for A.J.'s children ... that's who i'm the most concerned for. I'm about to give my swollen eyes some rest now. I just wanted to say thanks two everyone for their prayers," said Burruss.

Keep Kandi and The Jewell family in your prayers. My condolences go out to this man, son, and father of 6 kids. This senseless violence must stop. When will it end?

Singer Mashonda confronts Alicia Keys regarding being a homewrecker

I made a post previously regarding Alicia Keys dating married Producer Swizz Beatz. Well it was just a rumor then, now it is all out! They are a couple and are open with it. Swizz Beatz is still married, but has left his wife, singer Mashonda, and is now in a real relationship with Alicia Keys.

Mashonda recently tweeted a whole damn letter to Alicia via twitter and here's a few paragraphs from that long letter:

"If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create.Im not saying everything was perfect all the time but no relationship is perfect. We made a vow to God and I believe you should have respected that, as a woman. I know you owe me or my son nothing but I just wish you would’ve handled things more carefully. I’m not judging you, I put you and the whole situation in the hands of God, the Higher Power. Just know that as a woman, I expected so much more from you. I never had intentions on reaching out to you this way but after reading your twits tonight, and the constant disregard, you left me no choice. I feel that after 1 and a half years of you hiding this affair and acting like it doesnt exist, that now is the time to confront it, since you talk so openly about it now."

"This is not a publicity stunt, I dont have a record coming out. I just need to close this chapter in my life and that means confronting our issues. There is a small child involved. His dad loves him to death and he wants to spend more time with him but hes afraid because he knows we don’t have a relationship. This is my main concern. My son NEEDS his dad and I NEED to be comfortable with you. For him!"

"I read your tweets tonight and I felt they were very insensitive. You have no idea how much pain I was caused because of this affair. Its baffling to me that you don’t understand what I might have gone through with this situation. I dont consider myself a victim anymore, Ive learned alot from this! I just ask you to try and be a bit more realistic and delicate to the situation, at least until my divorce is final. I felt me attending the party would have been a starting point for us, since you shook my hand after I offered it, but I suppose I was wrong."

OMG this has got to be one of my favorite events of the year so far..... Heineken's Red Star Soul Tour Dallas starring DJ D-Nice, Estelle, and Big Boi hosted by Kevin Hart. Free Heinekens all night, funny ass host, and great music. The Ghostbar was a very grown and sexy venue. The green decor along with free Heinekens really set the scene. Here's a few pics of the happenings at the event. I really want to thank Heineken for putting on another great event. Last year was off the chain as well.

Soooo the asshole of 2009 awards goes out to Kanye "dumbass" West. I was absolutely embarrassed for Beyonce and Taylor Swift last night on the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Taylor Swift won the award for best Female Video and while accepting her first award ever Kanye jumps his tail up there and snatches the mic from her. He goes on blabbing how Beyonce has the best video out there. Ok Kanye, we know that, but let Taylor get her props. Taylor has one of the best selling c.d.s of the year and has won numerous awards elsewhere.

When the camera turned on Beyonce she was in shock. Beyonce shook her head in amazement and I can only imagine what was going on inside her head. Mrs. Carter did win Video of the Year and she showed us how humble and gracious she is. Beyonce invited Taylor out to finish her acceptance speech. I really do admire Bey for doing that.

All I can say is Kanye has really showed his ass and I am happy that he got put out for the rest of the show. Oh yeah he blamed it on the alcohol.... see the pic above.

8 Year Anniversary of Aaliyah's Death

I had to take time out of my evening to pay tribute to the late and great Aaliyah. Today marks the 8th year anniversary of her death. Aaliyah died on August 25, 2001 in a plane crash. Aaliyah didn't die alone, a few of her closest friends and staff also perished. She was such a talented woman, and the chicks in the game now could have learned something from her.

Michael Jackson passes away at the age of 50

I am very sad to say that the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, passed away today. Michael, age 50, went into cardiac arrest in his home today and passed away once at the hospital. He was pronounced dead @ 2:29 pm pst.

I will do a MJ tribute post later.... just can't do it now. We've lost another icon today and the world will never be the same.

Rest in peace Farrah Fawcett.... who also passed away today from Cancer @ the age of 62.

I finally had the chance to attend a Don Ghotti Management event in Atlanta, Georgia. On Saturday June 13, 2009 Mixtape Couture took place at The Atlanta Bench. The Bench acts as a live music venue/art gallery. If you are a true Hip Hop head you should've been there. There was live performances by o8o of the Thunderkatz, Chey N., Vorheez and many more!

Most of the songs that were performed at Mixtape Couture were featured on The Adventures of Don Ghotti and Don Pitts Vol. 3. The two artists that stood out the most to me were Chey N. and Vorheez. They are two hell-of- a performers. lol Chey N has the appearance of a model with a soft side, but when that chick picks up the mic she wrecks havoc. She spits with a certain fluidity that I haven't seen from a female emcee and she can also sing and dance. Talk about a triple talent. YOU should definitely google/youtube her.

I am a hugeeee fan of The Golden Girls so shouts to them. Bea Arthur passed away at the age of 86. According to People:

Beatrice Arthur, the larger-than-life actress who scored on Broadway as the original matchmaker in Fiddler on the Roof and the hard-drinking actress in Mame before she went on to star in the groundbreaking '70s TV series Maude and, in the '80s, the beloved sitcom The Golden Girls, died early Saturday morning.

Dan Watt, a spokesman for Arthur's family, told the Associated Press that the star had been suffering with cancer, though he did not specify what kind. She died peacefully at her Los Angeles home with her family by her side, said Watt, who remembered Arthur as "a brilliant and witty woman."

Well we all know that social networking sites are on the rise now, and there are lots of celebs who have actually joined the bandwagon. Erykah Badu known as @fatbellybella and Jay Electronica welcomed a new baby girl today via Twitter. The baby was born @ 1:30 pm cst on Super Bowl Sunday.

The lovely couple chose to have a midwife, so this was a natural birth. This baby makes 3 for Ms. Badu and I wish her the best. Congrats u guys as we sat and waited for babybellaelectronica to be born!

I read this story today on Twitter and it was posted by BlackCelebKids. I was really saddened that people are so selfish that they take the lives of others just because they have no need to live.

In Wilimington, Ca. Ervin Lupoe, 40, killed his five children and his wife before turning the gun on himself. He had 2 sets of twins 2 &5 and an 8 year old daugther. Ervin and his wife had reportedly gotten laid off from their jobs at a hospital. I am at a lost for words and really don't know what else to say. R.I.P Lupoe kids and Anna Lupoe, may Ervin rot in hell!

Well ladies I know some of you are about to be heartbroken, but your boy Lance Gross (House of Payne) is now engaged to Eva Pigford Marcille (America's Next Top Model). He proposed to her on Christmas Eve at the Big Bear Ski Resort outside of Los Angeles. According to Essence Magazine, They exchanged Christmas gifts, and one of her gifts was a pillow with a note attached that read: “Hope you like it. Give this pillow to the man you love and he will explain.” After taking the pillow and using it as a cushion, Gross got on bended knee and popped the big question with a 3.36-carat 1895 Pave Cartier ring. Tameka Raymond gave birth on Dec. 10 at 2:33 am. Naviyd Ely Raymond (WTF?) weighed in at 5lbs, 13 ozs.

Skydiver survives 10,000 ft fall

Wow! This is crazy. I will never want to jump out of a darn plane. I won't even jump on a trampoline.

According to AOL:
A Florida skydiver plunged at least 10,000 feet after his parachute was damaged during the jump, but he survived with just cuts and bruises. "I'm amazed he's OK," Rafael Sarria's wife, Maria, told Tuesday's Miami Herald. "The doctor said he's lucky to be alive. He had a really big and great guardian angel."When Sarria, a 27-year-old TV technician, jumped out of a skydiving plane Sunday, his parachute became caught on the Cessna 208's rear flaps. The chute deployed partially but was still snagged.

"In 22 years of jumping I've never seen anything like this occur," said Fred Whitsitt, owner of Skydive Miami, told The Associated Press.Sarria's parachute was dragging on the plane, so the other skydivers jumped. "I went out, I looked back and I saw him hanging from there," said fellow skydiver Angel Alvarez.

Somewhere between 10,00 and 13,00 feet, Sarria disentangled himself and fell into an avocado grove in Homestead.

He was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where doctors were amazed to discover he had suffered cuts and bruises but no broken bones

I am sooo tired of DMX's bull ish. This man has been having problems for a while. We can all see that he is "sick". DMX is one of my favorite rappers, and is very talented. His "demons" are really eating him up and I hope that he will get help and get rehabilitated soon.

Vibe Magazine has reported that DMX has been arrested at Scott Storch's home. "The rapper was tipped off by a Georgia woman who had heard about a $5,000 reward for info leading to the whereabouts of the former Ruff Ryders star. The Palm Island home happened to be the one foreclosed on in July, after producer Scott Storch wasn’t able to make payments. It is unknown whether or not Storch was around when X got knocked. A warrant was issued for DMX’s arrest December 5. He had been charged with 11 counts of drug possession and seven counts of animal cruelty. He reportedly missed the court appearance due to a “medical emergency.”

According to documents, Fantasia Barrino's 1.3 Million dollar home will be sold to the highest bidder on January 12th 2009 @ 12 p.m. Now I know Fantasia hit it big with doing The Color Purple on Broadway and her albums actually sale, so what is the problem? SMH

Fantasia has another home in NC that's around $750K. Looks like it's time to tour Fanny Mae. lol I still love me some Fanny though. That's for sure.

For all of my fellow Brandy *aka* BRocka fans.... Brandy is back bitchesssss (in Paris Hilton's voice). lol I am really loving this c.d. It has been on repeat since I bought it 2 hrs ago. The album was produced by Brandy Norwood and Rodney Jerkins.

Piano Man - Kind of has a Usher Love in the club type feel. Brandy gets down on this track with lyrics like: "Play me a song about heartache, I promise I can sing every word (mr piano man), play me a song about love lost, that's another one everyone's heard, strike up the band, we can have the whole world singing tonight" Brandy was reading my mind.

Torn Down- This track sounds like the old Brandy I know. She basically puts it out there that her love with "someone" can't be torn down. Brandy sings "Built this love in 24 hours, made it brick by brick by brick, reached my limit screaming gimmie more power I cannot quit, won't quit, don't tell me I can't build Rome in a day just cause they couldn't do it" Now B those are some powerful words. lol

A Capella (something's missing)- This one is tied with 1st & Love. " I'm in a dark room in a bad position, I'm lookin for the light to restore my vision, guess i'm walkin blind, I keep falling down, I can't find my way, I can't explain this feeling, feels like i'm on a long journey going in circles." Ughhhh I so feel Brandy on this damn song. It's my theme song right now.

1st & Love- I can dance around to this song all damn day. I love the beat, it hits hard to me. This is my favorite cut from the Human album. About 2 weeks ago, I was on Twitter, and saw someone post a link to an all-female mixtape, Set it Off – The F.E.M. Edition. I was like ok let me give this a listen because I am a true Hip-Hop head and I love to see my ladies represent. I wasn't expecting bangers, just mediocre songs. Well back the F up, I was blown away by the lyrics that were blessing my ear drums. Thanks to Alyse Feldman from OntheflyPR for the press release.

I've read on many other blogs that NeNe Leakes, my fav chick from The Real Housewives of Atlanta and her hubby has gotten the boot out of their very expensive home in Atlanta. I don't know about all of this he said she said mess.

Details about this house: 5,000-square-foot home at 1765 Silvermere Court in Duluth, Ga,

was purchased for $829,400 in September 2006, and $6,240 in past due rent.

Here's what NeNe had to say: “I am truly blessed to enjoy a wonderful life and lifestyle,” “We have indeed moved to another home, but we did so on our own free will. We live in an absolutely beautiful home and we are fortunate to be able to live in the place of our choice."

200th Post... Who is Nina B?

Who is Nina B? Nina B is a female rapper from Brooklyn that's a force to be reckoned with. She's a pretty girl on the outside, but a beast on the inside. She spits pretty but gritty 16's, and has a swagga that's sooo sick with it! Her early influences include B.I.G, Jay Z, 2 Pac, Roxanne Shante, Shyne, and Lil Kim. I caught up with Nina B to see what she's really about.

1. At what moment in your life did you decide that you wanted to be a lyricist/rapper?

Rapping / writing rhymes poetry songs etc...Something I started doing at an early age I would do so to pass time and express myself. I never knew exactly what I wanted to be when I started, but that's real passion...I wasn't trying to make any money or be famous I just wanted to be heard. I wanted to make great songs...As I got older I started being less shy about it and even fantasizing about rapping as a career. I didn't think anybody would take me seriously. There was nobody to share my feelings with, and I ain't want nobody laughing my dreams off like I was trying to amuse them...When I was in high school, and somebody offered me a major deal just because I had the "look" and the "energy ( and probably the youth) in my favor I realized I can make big bucks I'm as good as I wanna be ... imagine what could happen if I actually applied myself... that's when I started my pursuit... but I quit by age 18. It was discouraging... not being offered another deal in that time... but the truth is , I wasn't putting the work in. What good is 10 books filled with lyrics if you're not even trying to get em out there... I've learned a lot.

2. What female Emcee/artist inspired your style/or genre of rapping? If there wasn't one, how did you create your "style" of rapping?

I feel like I took a little bit from everybody males too, as they have dominated the scene... but as far as females I've always admired Queen Latifah and Lauryn Hill the most... but I also grew up listening to Monie Love, MC Lyte, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Eve, Left Eye, Teena Marie, Blondie lol and everybody in between... I like to say I soaked it all in but I am what I am, 1 thing I don't condone is mimicking. I do what I do and that's the only way I know how to be Nina B.

3. I know you are a beast on the mic, if you could have a freestyle with 1 male artist who would it be and why?

Hmmm great question I would love to go bar for bar with _________________ (insert your favorite rapper here) lol I can hold my own with anybody...But seriously I'd be honored to freestyle with Kanye. He's sharp, off the top ,and its no secret I love his work.

4. If you grew up in Beverly Hills in a mansion w/ butlers etc. would you still be a rapper today, or would you be on another career path? ( I ask this because sometimes peoples environment shape out who they become or strive to become)

I doubt I'd be a rapper coming from that background.How many rappers can tell that story? It usually ends up that way with the mansions and butlers...But it starts in the hood ... usually!Originally! I am glad you asked me that... it took me a while to realize everything I went through all the things I can never change...The path my parents tried to carve 4 me with their own mistakes... the straight up poverty at 1 point, homelessness, sexual abuse...The headaches and drama. All these things happened so I can be who I am and know I'm indestructible. To be able to handle anything because most of this is light compared to the loads I had to carry through the years. I've got experience. I've been there. I've done that. All that's left for me is the mansions and the butlers. So I'm pushing, and I know what I deserve! I work hard as hell girl.

5. If Biggie was resurrected and wanted you to do a cut with him, what would the title be?

Wow .... Biggie and Nina B... that would be awesome by the way... we would probably do a record 4 the club, I love his club records... and I would come through and rep for the ladies so we'd call it... "she ain't got nothin on you, you got class"

6. What would the title of your Autobiography be?

7. Describe Nina B in ONE sentence.

I'm harder to forget.

8. What can we expect from Nina B for 2009? Source Awards? Platinum Album? Bet Award?

Yes yes yes... I'm calling 2009 2000mine.... and I'm going harder than I ever did. A lot of great things are happening. I'll definitely keep you posted!

Wyclef lost his "unbuilt" house... WTF?

The as-yet-unfinished manse is going to be sold off by Miami-Dade county Dec. 12 because Wy -- through a company he set up with friends -- has yet to pay back over $2 mil he owes on the mortgage. The house went into FC City in March.And it wasn't just the mortgage that wasn't paid -- court docs show there were plenty of people working on the house that haven't gotten paid either.Wyclef didn't immediately comment.

I have not seen my girl Teyana Taylor in the spotlight for a minute. The album was pushed back, and never released. Well if it has been I cannot find it on the web. I have been playing her ish for about a year now, but that's about it. Google me hit and I thought people would dig it, but ummmm NO. Teyana has a hugeeee fan base ranging from teens to adults so I don't what her promo team is doing. She has been seen hanging with Rihanna so I know she is still "socializing" in the industry.
