Sorry I haven't been updating

I just want to say hello to all of my readers/followers. I haven't posted in forever but I am in the process of changing up my content on www.tanijoy.com There are lots of entertainment sites out that I loveee such as : Miss Jia, Blogxilla, Necole Bitchie, Rasha Entertainment, Gyant Unplugged, Word on the streets mag, etc. So I am going to switch up my content because they have everything on point and there's no need for me to post certain things lol.

I will most likely dedicate my site to interviews with underground/indie artists or just plain on interviews with anyone who I find interesting such as Make up artists, designers, bloggers, etc. I need you guys input.... what shall it be?

Once I find out what I am going to do.... I will post on the regular. I promissseeeeee.

Kandi Burress of RHOA Ex-Fiance Killed in Atlanta

My condolences go out to Kandi Burress and the family of her ex-fiance Ashley "AJ" Jewell. AJ was murdered last night at a popular strip club by the name of Body Tap in Atlanta, Ga. Kandi was 1/4 of the platinum selling Xscape and a current cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

According to WSBTV: "Atlanta police told Channel 2 Action News that Jewell received a severe head injury during a fight at The Body Tap Club in the 1200 block of Marietta Boulevard in Atlanta. " "It appears he was involved in an altercation in the parking lot and he received a severe blow to the head," said Atlanta Police Lt. Keith Meadows. Meadows said Jewell was taken to Piedmont Hospital where he later died."

Since the report this morning an arrest has been made. "Police said Fredrick Richardson is charged with voluntary manslaughter and currently being held at Grady Detention due to his injuries. Authorities said Richardson will be transported to the Fulton County Jail once he is cleared by medical personnel."

Kandi has commented via her Twitter page about the untimely situation: "I could never in a million years imagine this happening. Please pray for A.J.'s children ... that's who i'm the most concerned for. I'm about to give my swollen eyes some rest now. I just wanted to say thanks two everyone for their prayers," said Burruss.

Keep Kandi and The Jewell family in your prayers. My condolences go out to this man, son, and father of 6 kids. This senseless violence must stop. When will it end?

Singer Mashonda confronts Alicia Keys regarding being a homewrecker

I made a post previously regarding Alicia Keys dating married Producer Swizz Beatz. Well it was just a rumor then, now it is all out! They are a couple and are open with it. Swizz Beatz is still married, but has left his wife, singer Mashonda, and is now in a real relationship with Alicia Keys.

Mashonda recently tweeted a whole damn letter to Alicia via twitter and here's a few paragraphs from that long letter:

"If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create.Im not saying everything was perfect all the time but no relationship is perfect. We made a vow to God and I believe you should have respected that, as a woman. I know you owe me or my son nothing but I just wish you would’ve handled things more carefully. I’m not judging you, I put you and the whole situation in the hands of God, the Higher Power. Just know that as a woman, I expected so much more from you. I never had intentions on reaching out to you this way but after reading your twits tonight, and the constant disregard, you left me no choice. I feel that after 1 and a half years of you hiding this affair and acting like it doesnt exist, that now is the time to confront it, since you talk so openly about it now."

"This is not a publicity stunt, I dont have a record coming out. I just need to close this chapter in my life and that means confronting our issues. There is a small child involved. His dad loves him to death and he wants to spend more time with him but hes afraid because he knows we don’t have a relationship. This is my main concern. My son NEEDS his dad and I NEED to be comfortable with you. For him!"

"I read your tweets tonight and I felt they were very insensitive. You have no idea how much pain I was caused because of this affair. Its baffling to me that you don’t understand what I might have gone through with this situation. I dont consider myself a victim anymore, Ive learned alot from this! I just ask you to try and be a bit more realistic and delicate to the situation, at least until my divorce is final. I felt me attending the party would have been a starting point for us, since you shook my hand after I offered it, but I suppose I was wrong."

I use to do a model spotlight on the blog when I first started, but my content changed up a little bit. Well I have made a new buddy and she is a model by the name of ZeEnna. The modeling industry can be a tough one to break into to. Especially if you don't fit the norm. Well ZeEnna breaks the mold, and I feel like she needs more exposure.
